Ellen - I know this article is old. But it's still might on the mark. Not only in France but in many developed countries.

And as the economy is worse, expect to see more disenfranchised people. SAD.

There's a sad and very interesting article in this morning's IHT about illegal aliens in France. The French system turns a blind eye and some are actually able to thrive. This man's story is tragic.
