Jardin du Luxembourg

The Jardin du Luxembourg, for me, is one of the most fantastically enjoyable city parks in the world. It is wonderful during all seasons, but springtime each year absolutely takes my breath away. The early evening hours on a beautiful spring evening with the long archway of trees in full bloom is a wonderful treat for the senses, especially after five long months of winter weather. Strolling from the southern end of the park along the long alleyways with giant trees towering overhead makes me feel thankful for the beauty in this world. I have sometimes thought I could make a whole book just about the Jardin du Luxembourg though I also love just savoring it as season unfolds upon season. I know I am not alone and I am sure many of you have spent time in these gardens. I hope you enjoy my view of them.
