Malcolm Pepper profile
As a young man, Malcolm Pepper left his native London to try his luck in Paris. He bluffed his way into a major international advertising agency where he spent two very formative years. In that time, his French became fluent and his calling as a creative writer emerged. A chance conversation with an agency colleague became a shared vision for a start-up. Both men left the agency to set up what would become France’s first and for many years Europe’s most innovative and successful corporate event production company. For sixteen years, Malcolm built this into the multi-million dollar market leader, with big name clients like IBM, Unilever, Danone, Dior, Moët & Chandon and Peugeot-Citroen. Malcolm then went on to start a second production company adding further clients like Evian, Fabergé, Thalès, Manpower, Masterfoods, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Disneyland Paris Resort and many others. In 2005, following the same spur-of-the-moment whim which prompted Malcolm to move to France many years earlier, he founded Four Flags in Houston, Tx. While maintaining a strong interest in his core area of expertise, Malcolm has broadened his activity to include television documentary production with a first series called “Famously French” devoted to bringing the best of France to American audiences, which can be found at www.famouslyfrench.com . Malcolm is the author of “Just Dream It!”, a richly illustrated carnet de voyage album of a career devoted to the little-known world of production of special events. Malcolm is also an active member of several non-profit and service-based organizations putting his skills to work to help others. Malcolm Pepper is British and has three adult daughters. He currently resides in Houston, Texas.
